RandomTools.app is designed to be fast and privacy-friendly. Our coin flipper, dice roller, random number generator/selector, and decision wheel run in your browser; individual outcomes are not uploaded to our servers.
What we don’t collect
- No account data: we don’t require sign-in.
- No storage of your flips, rolls, or generated numbers.
Information we may process
- Basic server logs (standard web logs) for security and reliability.
- Preference storage (cookies or localStorage) solely to remember UI settings you choose (e.g., dark mode, last used ranges). These stay in your browser.
- Analytics (if enabled): privacy-minded, aggregated metrics to understand feature usage and performance. We do not use this to reconstruct individual results.
Cookies & local storage
We use only the minimal client-side storage needed for functionality and UX. You can clear these via your browser settings. The site functions without third-party tracking cookies.
Children’s privacy
Our tools are general-audience utilities and may be used in classrooms. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Your rights (GDPR/EEA)
If applicable, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. Since we do not keep accounts or store outcomes, there is typically little personal data to retrieve.
Data retention
Server logs are kept only as long as necessary for security, troubleshooting, and legal obligations.
Third-party services
We aim to use a minimal set of third-party services (e.g., hosting/CDN). These providers may process limited technical data (such as IP addresses) to deliver the site securely and efficiently.
Advertising
There are currently no ads on RandomTools.app. If we add advertising in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly before changes take effect.
